Warped Perception

Perception is one’s unique interpretation of the world. However, perception can be easily changed with the slightest modification of color, context, or form. In this series of prints, I examine how the manipulation of a form can result in a new way of perceiving the object by warping the shape to create a new unique form. I created this series from a group of simple illustrations of one of the world’s most valuable resources, water. I then used digital editing tools to warp the shape. This resulted in a series of one-of-a-kind forms, which I printed in a simple manner using the color blue to represent the forms’ origin.
