About

I am a graphic designer and artist living on the Connecticut shoreline. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Art and Architectural Studies, with distinction in Art, from Connecticut College. During my undergraduate studies, I concentrated on the use of photopolymer plates as a safe alternative to traditional etching techniques. I later earned my Master of Arts in Information Design at Central Connecticut State University to advance my knowledge of graphic and web design.

I currently work as a senior graphic designer in Yale's Office of Development. In my role, I am responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing print and digital projects for internal clients in support of the department's fundraising and relationship-building efforts. My specialties include the creation of brand identities, marketing materials, event collateral, websites, and email designs.

Work

I deeply value a team approach as this produces the best results for clients and helps me evolve as a designer and artist. With my background in fine arts and information/graphic design, I offer a unique perspective by considering each project based upon its intended purpose, artistic merit, and practicality to produce. The final result is a simple, elegant, and creative design that uses each element, both typographic and illustrative, to strategically communicate the intended messaging as well as representing the identity and/or values of the client through the use of symbolic forms and colors.
