The Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs, which opened on July 1, 2022, is Yale’s first new professional school in more than forty-years. Before becoming a stand-alone professional school, its was known as the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs. The university celebrated the opening and dedication of the Yale Jackson School in October 2022.
The opening celebration was a once in a generation event that required stately and timeless print materials that matched the significance of the occasion. I collaborated with the event planner and the Jackson communication team to create designs that followed the school’s newly established brand guidelines. Our print vendor then helped me further elevate the designs by assisting with stock selection and recommending speciality printing processes, including letterpress and edge coloring.
